People who really know me understand that I'm the biggest Esthero groupie/fan in the world. Esthero, in my opinion helped create a new space in music back in '98, when Napster/Trip-Hop and searching for a scene was all the rave. I never had the chance to see her perform live, but I met her in the most random of places. I not only double as a marketing genius, but I have some videographer skills. I filmed her for an online television show I created a couple years back.

I interviewed her on the roof of some random hotel with me and my buddy Jeremy Hassell. Jeremy and I waited on that roof for like an hour and she was so amazing to meet.

I pulled a real SUPER FAN move and bought her a Build-A-Bear and all 4 copies of the same CD "Wikked Lil Girls" for her to sign (Which I totally forgot to make her sign). Boston Dynamics just released a new video of the Big Dog on ice and snow, and also demoing its walking gait. This video literally made my skin crawl and my stomach get a little kweezy. The Big DOG robot is so life like it even caught itself slipping on ice like a hooker running from Po-Po. Shiiiit!

A late night liquor induced YOUTUBE search for some Rare Grooves and I stumble across American jazz harpist Dorothy Ashby's music. I love me some rare grooves and it prompted me to get my Geraldo Rivera investigative search on. Did you know Dorothy played Harp for artist like Stevie Wonder on his "Songs in the Key of life" album? Listen to hear music and you'll see she's an American jazz legend.

Dorothy Ashby (August 6, 1932-April 13, 1996) was an American jazz harpist and composer.

Critic Scott Yannow writes, "There have been very few jazz harpists in history and Dorothy Ashby was one of the greats. Somehow she was able to play credible bebop on her instrument." [1] There had been jazz harpists prior to Ashby, like Adele Girard, but no one else had adapted the harp to jazz so successfully nor had integrated into such a broad array of musical styles. Her influence certainly opened doors for later jazz harpists like Deborah Henson-Conant, Andreas Vollenweider and Carol Robbins.
